My handwriting, on a Thai restaurant’s menu, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Chank, the baron of fonts (see http://www.chank.com for his stuff), did a font of my handwriting in, I think, 1995. Font’s called Wichita. (I’m lobbying him to do a new one—the pseudo-quasi-Edwardian lower-case “a”, that I did here, makes me cringe).
The pad see-ew was delicious.
The owner/chef/etc (it’s a tiny joint, maybe three tables, across the street from the Knitting Factory) was neither impressed, nor did he seem to think I was insane, when I told him my handwriting was on his menu.
